I really enjoyed this and it helped me fall asleep last night (but only after it ended). The ending with the kids? Adorable! I'd love to hear a sequel about how they got married, omg how did they get married in a medieval society? I liked the expansion of the "there's only one bed" trope, you got the rule of three: "I made sure there were two beds", "there was only one bed and we slept together", and "there was only one bed and I insisted on the floor", good progression. I was confused by the "you" framing and the tone but it was good, and it totally made sense at the end. Your voice and tone works great for the story, the mixture of affection and exasperation... I should have more nice things but this is what I remember from last night.
